Zum Heurigen – Our rustic wine restaurant
Our Austrian restaurant and wine tavern “Zum Heurigen” is just the thing when Preiss’n, Bavarians and Austrians want to meet seasoned Griesbach natives. A cosy wooden ceiling spans our individual parlours. The antique, lifelike tables and chairs and quaint benches seem to come straight from Grinzing. The decorations and the scattered floral dishes from Gmunder Keramik emphasise the hearty ambience of our restaurant. Zither and squeeze music add to the atmosphere every Thursday. In the summer months, you can enjoy this genuine Heurigen romance in the lush green wine courtyard.

There is no question that the wine and schnapps menu will also be a delightful discovery tour through the diversity of Austria’s vines – cask wines, table wines or top quality wines can be enjoyed by the glass of eight, Heurigenkrügerl or from the bottle. Zither, Quetschn, accordion, Zwoagsang, Schrammeln, Stubenmusi and more… Thanks to LIVE MUSIC it is never “bland” in the Heurigen on Thursdays from 7 pm!
